It’s hard to be black everywhere.

Every time you walk out of the house, go to the store, drive somewhere, travel outside of the United States, stay in the house, etc.

It’s challenging to speak up when others stereotype you in a category.

If you’re colored, you have to look out for yourself.

We have to fight within ourselves to become a better person.

Countless forces working against us and still occurs for generations and generations.

What we are is a threat to society.

Racially profiled and long-oppressed daily.

We are frustrated, in fear, and fatigued.

We feel helpless.

We endure white supremacy.

We are recorded daily.

I try to hold the pain and wounds.

Elimination at its finest.

We have to fight until the day we die, and our bodies are buried 50 feet in the ground.

We are all faced with feelings of contradiction.

We are desensitized. We have to continue to try to put a brave face on daily at work and events while feeling angry, hurt, sad, anxious, and tired.

My question is when enough is enough?
